I'm okay, I'm super okay!" That is the entire character in one breath: enormous ambition, immediate physical betrayal, and an absolutely sincere insistence that everything is fine.

Her official biography does not soften it. She is "energetic, positive, and enthusiastic about everything she does. However, her body struggles to keep up with her mind." She has real talent — the wiki is careful to say she has amazing potential in running and in other areas too — but the pattern is fixed: she gives it her all, and then she falls down. In the game she coughs when her energy runs low, and she looks unwell even in her own victory animations. Her real-life counterpart won the Kyoto Daishoten in 1999 before a ruptured suspensory ligament ended his career, spent five years as a lead horse at Kyoto Racecourse, and died peacefully in August 2026 at the age of thirty-one.
