Daitaku Helios

The sun walks into the room and she is wearing platform boots and neon accessories. Daitaku Helios is Tracen Academy's resident gyaru DJ, a whirlwind of laughter, disco beats, and irrepressible good vibes who treats every single day like it deserves its own dance party. Her smile is so constant that it almost feels like a law of physics — Helios is shining, therefore the world is bright.

But peel back the glitter and you find something surprising: genuine depth. The party-girl persona is not a mask exactly, but it is not the whole picture either. Her famous front-running style — blasting to the lead at absurd pace alongside her forever-friend Mejiro Palmer in their legendary "runaway tandem" — comes not from recklessness but from an intensity she channels into pure forward motion. She runs at the front because looking back was never an option, because her passion for racing burns too hot to hold anything in reserve.

Her friendships define her. Palmer is her "zuttomo" — her ride-or-die bestie whose bond transcends strategy. Their tandem front-running is chaotic, beautiful, and utterly them. Then there is her one-sided crush on Daiichi Ruby, whose icy indifference only makes Helios try harder to earn a smile. She collects people the way she collects good times: enthusiastically, generously, and without keeping score. Back-to-back Mile Championship victories prove that beneath the gyaru slang and the party planning, there is a racer of genuine caliber.

If you matched with Daitaku Helios, you are the person who lifts everyone's mood just by showing up, who loves fiercely and without conditions, and whose bright exterior hides a surprisingly serious core.
